Insight:
General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is a billion dollar government systems integrator. Problem is, they looked and sounded exactly like every other government contractor, lost in a sea of stock images and outdated hues of blue.
Idea: Create a new brand for GDIT that reflects a more modern tech company with sleek, simplistic, and organic elements (standing out by owning the white space in the market, literally).
My role: Full rebrand, new verbal identity, voice, messaging, copy development, creative direction, and content strategy.

RESULTS

Results: In the first 8 weeks, the external campaign garnered more than 280M impressions, GDIT saw a 358% increase in social media engagement, 5500 new followers on LinkedIn, an average of 105% increase in website traffic, and over 50,000 visits to the newly launched “Brand Central” intranet page. The GDIT brand was valued at $28B (pre-rebrand) and is now worth $84 billion dollars in (as of 2024). The work also won the Distinction Award at the 2020 Rebrand Awards.
